Turkey white goods suppliers can support an OEM launch, but the commercial decision should start with the service file. A good factory sample does not answer who owns spare parts, field failures or warranty decisions after shipment. Put those controls in the RFQ before price negotiation.
How should brands screen Turkey white goods OEM suppliers?
Screen the legal entity, product family, factory, test plan and service model as separate checks. Ask for the exact manufacturing site, the model list, current certifications and the person who approves corrective action. A supplier brochure is not a release record.
Use a structured factory inspection and quality-control plan before nomination. Then keep the approved sample, bill of materials and inspection limits in a controlled pack. The same serial or model code should follow the order, test report and warranty record.
What belongs in an OEM RFQ for white goods?
An RFQ should define the appliance configuration, tolerances, test conditions, packaging, manuals, replacement parts and destination-market compliance owner. It should also state when a deviation needs written approval. Vague phrases such as “export quality” do not create an acceptance standard.
For the production side, use an RFQ, samples and quality-control checklist. Lock a golden sample before mass production. Agree the defect taxonomy and the remedy for a failed inspection before the deposit is paid.
How should warranty controls be allocated?
Allocate warranty responsibilities by market and contract. For consumer goods sold in Türkiye, Article 56 of Law No. 6502 requires manufacturers and importers to issue the guarantee certificate specified by regulation for covered goods. The current official legislation text is the baseline for Turkish consumer sales.
The Turkish Ministry of Trade states that producers and importers of goods on the annexed list must provide authorized service stations with sufficient technical staff for the stated service life. Which evidence should a buyer request before a purchase order?
Request a facility-specific quality file: legal entity details, factory address, model matrix, component approvals, test reports, traceability method, packaging specification and a parts-price list. Obtain a named escalation contact for safety or repeat-failure cases. Test a service claim with a mock case before launch.

What should happen after the first shipment?
Review early failures by model, component lot and destination. A monthly defect report should separate transport damage, installation error, cosmetic defect and functional failure. Without that split, the warranty budget becomes a negotiation instead of a management tool.

Does an OEM factory automatically carry the brand warranty?
No. The sales contract, distributor structure and applicable consumer rules decide the allocation. Put repair authorization, parts funding and recovery rights in writing.
Should a buyer ask for an inspection before every order?
Use a risk-based plan. A first production run, a new model, a changed component or an unresolved defect trend justifies more inspection attention.
Can TSE search results replace a factory audit?

Who should own spare-parts availability?
Name the responsible party, minimum stock logic, pricing method and lead time in the agreement. Do not leave parts support to an informal promise.
