Germany Construction Worker

We are looking for team members to be assigned to scaffolding installation and dismantling work at construction sites across Germany, working through an employment agency under a rental (Arbeitnehmerüberlassung) model. Compensation will be based on the current legal minimum hourly wage in Germany. EU citizenship or permanent residency in the EU is required to apply.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the team in the assembly, disassembly, and transportation of scaffolding on construction sites
  • Prepare, classify, and organize materials according to the instructions of the foreman/team leader
  • Place guardrails, platforms, and connection elements correctly by adhering to working at heights regulations
  • Participate in daily safety briefings (toolbox) and use personal protective equipment (helmet, safety harness, gloves, steel-toed shoes, etc.) correctly
  • Ensure site cleanliness, waste separation, and order at the end of work
  • Assist in the undamaged use and counting of equipment and materials
  • Comply with safety and quality procedures, report non-conformities
Required Qualifications:
  • Must be an EU citizen or hold a permanent residence permit in the EU (Niederlassungserlaubnis, etc.)
  • Physically suitable for fieldwork; no conditions that prevent working at heights
  • Ability to work in a team, discipline in receiving and following instructions
  • Ability to safely use basic hand tools; pay attention to site organization
  • Preferably: Basic level German communication, Class B driver’s license, previous scaffolding/construction experience
  • Motivation to strictly adhere to safety regulations
Working Conditions:
  • Weekly working hours: Varies by project but generally 40 hours; overtime as needed
  • Shifts: Daytime according to the construction site plan; flexible working based on project needs
  • Field locations: Various cities and projects across Germany
  • Travel: Short-term travel may be required between projects
  • Accommodation: Organizational support may be provided on a project basis; details will be clarified during the hiring process
  • Equipment: Provision and use of mandatory personal protective equipment is ensured
  • Compensation: Payment according to Germany’s legal minimum hourly wage (current Mindestlohn); legal rates apply for overtime and night work
